For private equity
One of your companies is behind plan.
The thesis was right. The team is working hard. The growth just isn't showing up, and from the board seat it's tough to see why. I get in the trenches, find what's actually holding it back, and fix it with the team you already have.

No matter the industry, every business does two things.
1
Get customers
It has to find and win people who buy.
2
Serve those customers
It has to deliver, and keep them coming back.
When a company is behind plan, the answer is always in one of those two. Before you put in more capital or more people, it's worth knowing which one is actually broken.
Where I start
It all starts with the map.
Understanding how the company actually makes money, before touching anything.
01
I map how the company makes money
Every way it gets a customer, and everything it does to keep them. This alone usually surfaces growth that's being left on the table.
02
We see what it takes to deliver
What each part actually needs to run: people, technology, resources. Where growth is quietly capped.
03
We find the one thing to fix first
The bottleneck holding the number back. I help the team knock it out, then we go find the next one.
04
We keep it running
A simple rhythm the team can hold on their own, so the gains show up in the next board pack and the one after.
How I work
I don't come in to take over.
The fastest way to break a company is to send someone in who announces they're in charge. I don't do that. I earn the team's trust, work through the people already there, and the founder stays the founder. When it's running on its own, I hand it back and step out.
One more thing
I build the tools, too.
A lot of the growth I find comes from taking repetitive work off the team, so they do more without more headcount. I build those tools myself. It's an accelerant on a company that already has the fundamentals right, not a substitute for getting them right first.
Fit
Let's be straight about it.
This works when the company actually wants the help and there's a real number to move. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you on the first call, and we don't waste each other's time.
